Reboot Control4 Keypad

If your keypad is frozen, slow, or not operating as it previously has been without any configuration changes, then it is recommended to reboot the keypad.

  1. To initiate a reboot of the keypad, begin by locating the non-operational keypad.
  2. Press the top button on the keypad 15 times within a 5-second window to initiate the reboot process.
  3. Observe the keypad to ensure that all lights extinguish and then illuminate again.
  4. Allow 1-2 minutes for the keypad to complete the reboot process and establish the connection.
  5. Test the keypad's functionality to verify if it is now performing as anticipated.
