Control4 X4 Using Settings and Services

Add Users & Access

Tap the Settings icon > Settings > Users & Access. Tap a user’s name to edit their access level and details. Tap the plus icon to add new users.

Adjust Font Size

Tap Settings & Services icon > Settings > Accessibility. Enable the Override OS Font Size option. Select the desired font size.

Change Wallpaper

Tap the Settings icon > Settings > Preferences > Wallpapers > Select the home screen or a room. Upload a photo for a custom wallpaper or choose one of the pre-sets.

Change Your Control4 Pro

Tap the Settings icon > Support. Tap the name of your Control4 Pro > Change Your Pro. Log in to the customer portal, then search for and select a new dealership.

Contact Your Control4 Pro

Tap the Settings icon > Support. Tap the name of your Control4 Pro. Their contact info and office location is displayed.

Edit Property Name

Tap the Settings Icon > Settings. Tap the name of the property and enter the desired name.

Manage Notifications

Tap the Settings icon > Settings > Notifications. Select an experience menu, then choose a device. Set the preferred event type. You can also toggle app tutorial notifications on and off.

Resize a Tile

Tap the More Options icon > Arrange & Remove Favourites > the Pencil icon. Enable the Use Large Tile option. Tap the Checkmark icon.

Set Default Tile Size

Tap the Settings & Services icon > Settings > Accessibility. Enable the Default to Large Favourite Size option. Favourites will now be added with the large size.
